If I could rate these 10/5 stars I would. I walked all over Europe in these things immediately out of the box! I was walking an average of 8-10 miles a day in them with zero discomfort! I wanted something that would be cute for hiking around but could also be dressed up, and these fit the bill to a T. The heel is the perfect height for dressing up but also practical for walking on uneven surfaces. Most of the streets I was on were cobblestone, but I wore them in the mud and climbing waterfalls too! The leather is soft but resilient (I thought I scratched the heck out of them, but the spots I scraped buffed right out.) People recommended sizing up, but idk if that’s necessary. I wear a 7.5 or 8 (8 in most tennis shoes and boots), I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. Plenty of room for a variety of sock thickness, and easy to tighten or loosen when necessary or when tucking pants in. If you’re on the fence, BUY them. I would have paid double what I did after how well they did on the trip!
